Mounting system for large moths and butterflies
700mm wide Puriri outside in the Hawkes Bay
Fully waterproof and sun fade protected. The mounting system allows the moth to float out from the wall and is attached with 2 hex screws. Well tested in all weather and will not fall off.

Puriri in the sun
All the butterflies and moths I make are fully protected with several layers of different varnishes so they can handle anything that nature has to throw at them including full sun, gale force winds and rain.
Small mounting system side view
The mounting system for the 250mm wide butterflies and moths is attached to the wall with one screw. It points the butterfly out from the wall on an angle so as to create a 3D shadow effect. The mounting system for the larger butterflies and moths has two screws but a similar angle is created.
